Add selection managers, editors, auditors, assigners and assessors

Assign roles to others so they can help run the selection.

Before you begin

  • Only selection managers can update selection permissions.

  • You will need to know the email address for the person you wish to assign a role.

  • Read about Select access roles.

  • Remember that the roles for an entity cascade through all the selections of the entity. For example, an Editor for the entity will automatically have an Editor role for all the entity’s selections. These inherited roles are not specifically listed in the selection personnel area.

Activities

  • Navigate to the Selections tab.

  • Click the name of the seletion to use.

  • In the Selection's Personnel area:

    • Click the Create button to assign a new role.

    • Click an existing role to edit or delete it.

  • Provide the details requested. You will need to provide the email address of an existing Select user to create a new role.

  • Changes to permissions will take effect at the user’s next login, or earlier.
