Delete a selection

You can delete a selection and all its details.

Before you begin​

This function is limited to entity and selection managers and editors. See roles for more information.

Deleting a selection record will remove all the selection’s submissions, assessments, assignments, questions, criteria, permissions and all the related records. Many records will be erased. It is not possible to undo a selection deletion.

tip

Before deleting a selection, it is usually wise to download and safely store an archive the selection data. Although this does not allow the selection to be automatically re-created, it does allow potential future queries about the selection to be resolved.

Activities​

  • Navigate to the Selections tab.

  • Click the name of the seletion to use.

  • In the Selection Details area, click the Edit button.

    • Click delete.

About selection deletion​

Deleting a selection will reduce the number of items counting towards the entity’s subscription limits, and thus free up space for new selections.
