Archive the selection

Make a local copy of the information.

Before you begin

It is best to create an archive of your selection prior to deleting it.

note

The archive process is a one-way process. It is not possible to create or update a selection process by importing archived records.

Actions

  • Navigate to the Selections tab.

  • Click the name of the seletion to use.

  • Access the Archive area. You will see instructions about the four main steps to make an archive.

  • Work through the steps.

    • Access the question report. Use the Actions button to download the report in a format of your choice: CSV, HTML, Microsoft Excel, PDF. PDF is usually a good choice because it preserves pictures and formatting.

      Archive the questions report

    • Do the same with the criteria report and the submissions report.

    • The submissions file archive generates a zip archive file, containing all the file attachments to all the submissions. The files are arranged separate folders for each submission.

  • Store the files in an appropriate long term storage location so that they'll be accessible if they are required in the future.
